It's 2011, and time for a change! At Revived Relics, we've moved some things around, and owner Michelle Shindle is excited for a new "feel" inside the shoppe. I've moved my space to another location, and I love it! It allows me to still showcase my jewelry, but will also be able to feature some new creations I've been working on...all contained in a cute little corner.
I'm so excited to premiere my latest creations. I saw versions of these on Etsy, and another friend of mine also made some, and I was inspired to put my vintage china, glassware, crystal and jewelry to use!
I'll call them Cake Stands for now, but really they can be used for many different things! the obvious is for cupcakes, pastries, cakes...but think outside the box and they are great for corralling all your jewelry and trinkets. Instead of tossing them on your dresser or side table, honor them by putting them in a beautiful vintage holder! What do you think? Prices range from $18 - $48 for the 3-tiered stand.
When you walk into the shoppe, you are greeted by a beautiful display of vintage "shabby chic" that you'd swear you saw in a magazine. Check out the gorgeous hand-painted hutch by Denyse Darr of Truly Scrumptious!
And, you'll fall in love with Michelle's one-of-a-kind custom made lampshades on fully rewired vintage lamps!!
Donna Henrich, a fellow Wachusett Regional High School alum, also has a space inside Revived Relics. She is known as Miss Gracie B's. (after her 3 children: Missy, Grace and Brendan!! how cute is that???) Donna has an eye for finding great items for the home--mostly vintage, but some new pieces may be sprinkled about. Right now she has some fabulous stemware for only $3 each!! INSANE! I picked up a few for my company's yankee swap, and paired it with one of Michelle's wine stoppers from Bauble Lu Lu!
Speaking of Bauble Lu Lu, Michelle has taken on this line of "Pandora-like" beads and accessories. Same look without the pricetag! Beads are only $8 and fit all of those bracelets. You must check it out. They also make fab pens, wine stoppers, id badge holders, eyeglass holders, interchangeable rings and earrings...the list goes on!
I thought the pens were so FAB that I bought one and packaged it with gorgeous notecards in a pretty gift box for another yankee swap! doesn't that look great?? (I'm happy to say that I swapped back to get my own gift!! lol)
And last but not least, Michelle's mom, Beryl Lindfors, has an entire room chock full of goodies!! You have to walk through it a few times to take it all in!! But, it's worth it. there are lots of treasures in there. Her shoppe is called My Way.
Ok, that's it for now, fabulous friends! Check back for more updates and FABULOUS FINDS!!
xx,
Regina
